During the end of the year, most companies give out corporate gifts to their clients, suppliers and even employees. Some of these gifts are in the form of planners, umbrellas, calendars, shirts, bags, card holders, pens and more. Usually, the logos of these companies are embossed, printed or embroidered by a custom embroidery company.
It’s a marketing campaign – a way of building PR with the clients, suppliers and employees and a free advertisement (yeah, like when people use a shirt printed with the slogan of a company) – but what’s important is that they’re still for free. Isn’t it nice to receive freebies and gifts?
Like those companies, I’m also planning to give out some freebies too on this blog. Unknown to many, I already tried designing blogs for some bloggers so I MIGHT be giving away some free blog makeovers although the one I’m focusing on is creating some social networking icons and give them as freebies here at Techie She.
I wish I could give some tangible products for the most active participants of the weekly giveaways but I’m afraid that shipping costs alone will already cost me an arm and a leg.
The best that I could come up is a multi-blog christmas giveaways which I will be launching along with more than 15 bloggers next month (still need more sponsors). The date is 11/11/11 – we seldom see lots of 1’s in the date so I thought it would be nice to launch a christmas giveaway at that time. Hope you can join.
