Here’s a quick trivia: Do you know that there was already a mention of magnification back to the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs in the 5th century BC and the earliest written record of magnification dates back to the 1st century AD?
It was in 1286, however, when eyeglasses were first made in Italy. During that time, they were purely just functional pieces to help people see better. Through the centuries, decades and years, they evolved into functional and stylish accessories but emerging technology now takes glasses (or spectacles or simply specs) to a whole new level.

Imagine that?! The stylish glasses that we’re using now may someday be more than just something that aids us to have better vision.
