Google To Retire Google Buzz

In a few weeks, Google will be retiring Google Buzz. At that time, users will not be able to create any new posts but the existing contents in their accounts will remain accessible in two ways:

  1. By viewing it on Google Profile
  2. By downloading it using Google Takeout

Google Takeout is a feature in Google that allows you to download a copy of your data stored within Google products. Since Google Takeout involves your personal information, you’ll be asked to verify your password even though you’re already signed in when using that product.
