Techie She Now Uses the Sixteen Nine Theme from StudioPress

Welcome to the new look of the Techie She blog. Aside from the new avatar (what a beautiful lady!), Techie She is now rocking the latest theme from StudioPress, the Sixteen-Nine Theme!

Sixteen Nine WordPress Theme from StudioPress

The Sixteen Nine WordPress Theme from StudioPress

The Sixteen-Nine Theme is one of the child themes of the Genesis Framework. Among the features of this theme are mobile responsiveness, custom background, custom header, custom menus, two layout options, fixed-width, landing page template and various theme options. Using the recently released Genesis 2.0, the Sixteen-Nine child theme incorporates the essential web standards like HTML5 and schema.org for a faster, more secure, more flexible, and more findable WordPress site.

You can visit the following links for free information about these themes:

The new color scheme is not as colorful as the previous pink and girly color scheme that I have. This was a deliberate move since I plan on sharing more tips and how-to articles in the future thus, the more professional-looking (I hope) and businesslike colors.

What do you think of the new theme? If you have a WordPress blog, would you like to use one of the themes from StudioPress for your blog too? Would you join if I host a customized theme from StudioPress giveaway?

I love your new theme, simple and the color combination is just right. A customized theme from StudioPress giveaway would be great! Please let us know if you decide to run one 🙂

Nice new theme Sis 🙂 And HOW I REALLY WISH too, that I know how to tweak my theme. But I guess it runs in the blood? or maybe you are really good at technology? hehe because I SUCK AT IT 🙁

thanks sis. anyway, i probably just have a case of undiagnosed ADHD sis because I easily get bored (like with the blog themes that I am using), LOL. since I love tinkering with the codes, I am glad that StudioPress offers a lot of choices when it comes to pre-made themes that require just a little customization on the artistic aspect of designing.

The font and text looks clean, I like it! I love Genesis Framework but I still can’t decide what to get in their premade templates.

I also had a hard time choosing which theme to use on my sites because there’s a lot to choose from at StudioPress. I was creating a theme for my new blog using Sixteen Nine theme but after some tweaks, I decided that it’s gonna be for this Techie She site. 🙂

It does have a more professional feel. 😀 And of course I would love to join a giveaway to win a free customized theme, I know all too well how hard it is to find your identity as a blog and a customized theme is one way to be unique. 😀
