Some of you probably know by now that I design blogs from time to time.
I only do it as a hobby because I realized that when you do it as a “job,” it has the tendency to drain all your creative juices. The longest wait list I had was only 4 and after that experience, I decided to accept only when I feel like doing it. When I was still working in the corporate world, I can work under pressure when it comes to analysis and other stuff but I realize that my creative side can only take much.
With my little experience in designing blogs for WordPress, I realized four things:
- A good image editing software is a must
- Having a flexible wordpress theme is better
- You always learn a new trick with every blog you design
- Researching on ways to make things easier is important
Creating a unique navigation bar is one of the things I’d like to do so, today, while taking a break from a design project I’m doing, I researched on how to create cool navigation bars. Let me share with you one of the sites I stumbled upon a site that offers ways to create nice web menus.
Likno’s products include allwebmenus, web button maker, dropdown menu trees, web modal windows builder, web tooltips builder, web tabs builder, web accordion builder and photo frame show. You can create javascript menu, css menu and other cool menu using the software that they offer.
The software is not for free but for someone who’s into designing, it is a good deal. Maybe someday, when I have more clients and want to spice up the designs some more, I might consider buying it. Maybe sooner, right?
