Once I had kids, so many things in my life changed. My life did change, but mostly just my thinking changed. I had never thought about baby proofing the house or home safety tips. Once I was a mom those things became so important to me. I used to go on the internet and just go to Facebook and stalk peoples pictures, but now I get on the internet and actually read articles about child development and how to keep your family and kids safe. I even read about nutrition! I joined a forum with other moms and have learned some pretty cool stuff. We share tips on organizing, safety tips, and parenting tips. What I have been working on this week is time-ins. Most the time when a toddler is acting out it is because they need some love and attention. Instead of sending them to their room to be by themselves for time out, you should have a time-in with them where you snuggle and let them know that you love them and they are important.
